August 24

2:02 a.m. - During a motor vehicle stop at the intersection of Depot and North Main Streets, Thomas Cooley IV, 31, of Taunton was arrested and charged with operating under the influence of liquor, operating a motor vehicle negligently to endanger, and speeding.

3:05 a.m. - Police received numerous calls for fireworks on South Main Street.

11:52 a.m. - A raccoon, possibly sick, was reported on Canton Street.

1:08 p.m. - A motor vehicle speeding up and down Brook Road was reported.

August 25

1:07 a.m. - During a motor vehicle stop at the intersection of Depot and North Main Streets, police arrested and charged Marcelo Dias, 47, of East Walpole with operating a motor vehicle under the influence of liquor, operating a motor vehicle negligently to endanger, operating a motor vehicle without a license, and speeding.

9:07 a.m. - Police assisted with a road rage incident on Brook Road.

9:23 a.m. - A motor vehicle accident was reported on Ames and Pond Streets.

12:20 p.m. - A pocket book was stolen out of a car on Juniper Road.

11:50 a.m. - A two-vehicle accident was reported on South Main Street and Oakland Road.

3:56 a.m. - A motor vehicle accident was reported on North Main and Highland Streets.

7:44 a.m. - A pellet gun was found in Post Office Square.

3:15 p.m. - A vehicle speeding on Wolomolopoag Street was reported.

12:33 p.m. - A woodchuck charging a resident on South Main Street was reported.

3:18 p.m. - A car accident in a parking lot on South Main Street was reported.

4:33 p.m. - Suspicious activity was reported on Lakeview Street.

7:20 p.m. - A car accident was reported on Edge Hill Road.

9:52 p.m. - A car accident was reported on North Main Street.

9:59 p.m. - Loud noises from Massapoag Avenue were reported.

12:25 p.m. - An officer flagged down a car for erratic operation on Firebrick and Foundry Roads.

3:48 p.m. - An animal was found limping on Massapoag Avenue.

10:24 p.m. - Sharon Police assisted the fire department with a car fire on Route One.

11:32 p.m. - A suspicious phone call to a Firebrick Road home was reported.
