Preliminary Town Meeting List Features Eight Items

Eight items are now being considered for a vote at a potential town meeting in the fall.

According to chairman Bill Heitin, eight articles have been brought to the selectmen’s attention for a meeting. Heitin added that a decision has not been made concerning if the town will have a special town meeting this fall.

The following are the eight articles that were part of the preliminary list:

• Request from southeast regional to have a stabilization fund.
• Minor modifications to animal control bylaws.
• town report distribution general bylaw change.
• transferring funds for the public safety building project.
• transferring money from the treasure to the accountant.
• reappropriating from the 2014 annual town meeting.
• purchase of 175 pond street.
• Reallocating funds within fire department.
