Selectmen Start Taking Positions on Town Meeting Articles

With a little more than a month until the special town meeting, two of the three selectmen recently took positions on seven of the 14 articles that will be up for a vote. Selectman Richard Powell has yet to any positions publicly as he was unable to attend the Sept. 27 meeting when the warrant was signed and positions were taken.

Article 1: Support 2-0

Article 2-4:  Both selectmen are holding off from taking a position until after a presentation on the Rattlesnake Hill project on Oct. 1

Article 5: Support 2-0

Article 6: Support 2-0

Article 7: Both selectmen are holding off on taking a position position until the dollar amount needed for the repairs is revealed.

Article 8: Support 2-0

Article 9: Both selectmen are holding off on taking a position.

Article 10: Both selectmen support the committee and the celebration of Sharon's 250th anniversary but are holding off from taking official position until the dollar amount needed for the celebration is revealed.

Article 11: Support 2-0
