Sharon Crash Leads to Drunken Driving Charge

SHARON, MA - A Walpole woman was driving drunk when he crashed his car, police said.

On Monday night at about 11:17 p.m., police in Sharon responded to a reported motor vehicle accident on Upland Road. Upon arrival, they observed a single vehicle crash involving one person trapped inside the vehicle.

The operator, Rogerio Rosa, 36, was transported to a Boston hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.

Rosa will be summons by the Sharon Police Department and charged with drunken driving, operating to endanger, speeding, operating without a license, and failing to stay in a marked lane.
