Solid Waste/Recycling Updates due to COVID-19May 19, 2020

  • Republic Services encourages residents to attempt to fit all trash into their carts to reduce driver exposure; however, overflow bags are permitted.
  • Spring curbside yard waste collection resumed on May 18 and will continue through May 29.
  • Curbside bulky waste collection remains suspended in order to reduce driver exposure.
  • The DPW yard will remain closed until town offices reopen, as fees will need to be collected for use of dumpster. DPW may refuse to accept any debris it deems unacceptable.
