Sharon Education Foundation and SPS Present 2017 Child Development Speaker Series Featuring Dr. Randy Kulman

Learn to use digital media more effectively and, at the same time, set effective limits for a healthy "play diet" for kids

On Wednesday, April 12th at 7:00 p.m. at the Sharon Middle School Auditorium, the Sharon Education Foundation (SEF) and Sharon Public Schools will present a lecture and Q&A session from Dr. Randy Kulman, Ph.D. titled Playing Smarter in a Digital World.

Dr. Kulman is a nationally-recognized speaker and author of Train Your Brain for Success: A Teenager’s Guide to Executive Functions and Playing Smarter in a Digital World: A Guide to Choosing and Using Popular Video Games and Apps to Improve Executive Functioning in Children and Teens.

Digital play, when used appropriately, can be a powerful tool for learning skills such as planning, time management, cooperation, creativity and digital literacy. In this presentation and Q&A session, Dr. Kulman will discuss strategies to help parents use digital media in a more effective manner and, at the same time, set effective limits and implement a healthy “play diet” for their children.
