Sharon Education Foundation's 11th Annual Spelling Bee a Success

11th Annual Spelling Bee to support the Sharon Education Foundation showcases the town's most accomplished spellers

Last Thursday, The Sharon Education Foundation (SEF) hosted its 11th Annual Spelling Bee at the Sharon Middle School. Funds raised support the mission of SEF and its 2015-2016 grant awards that will be announced in June, 2015. The winning word for the adult championship round was ”fuchsias”.

“We had a very exciting Bee with many talented spellers,” noted Tara G. Frier, SEF Bee Co-Chair. “Congratulations to all who participated and we are looking forward to hosting another intense competition next year!”

“Special thanks to our presenting sponsor, Subaru of New England, and all who supported SEF by purchasing teams or donating to our raffles,” said Dr. Steven Ross, SEF Bee Co-Chair. “The support from our schools and the community was exceptional.”
