Sharon Election Season Coming: Nomination Papers, Key Dates

Find out what positions are on the Sharon ballot in 2019.

SHARON, MA — Town election season is officially open. Candidates have until March 29 to pick up nominations papers and until April 2 to get at least 50 signatures and withdraw papers for the Sharon annual election on May 21.

Voters will have plenty of decisions to make with eight positions up for a vote on the May ballot. The following positions are on the ballot:

  • Board of Selectmen – 3-year term
  • Board of Assessors - 3-year term
  • Two School Committee members - 3-year term
  • Planning Board - 5-year term
  • Two Trustees of the Public Library - 3-year term
  • Housing Authority - 5-year term.
