Sharon High PTSO Auction Goal: $20,000

Online bidding wraps up next Sunday.

There's exactly one week left in a holiday shopping season seeking to bring presents to.

Bidding in the Sharon High School PTSO's online auction ends at 9 p.m. next Sunday, Dec. 12 at www.sharonhighauction.com.

The PTSO will distribute the proceeds as grants to teacher and student group projects.

"We hope to raise at least $20,000 this year," PTSO Fundraising Chairperson Karen Birnbaum says.  

More than seven volunteers, led by Birnbaum, obtained more than 200 items for bidding. Donations are still being accepted.

The auction has offerings ranging from lunch delivered by Sharon High Principal Jose Libano to a sterling silver bracelet with diamonds and amethysts donated by Sharon's.

Among the items attracting the most bids are in the sports category.  

There are three sets of tickets to Boston Celtics home games, and a pair of seats at the New England Patriots' home finale.
