Sharon High School Ranked 14th in the State, Awarded Gold Medal
The ranking and award came from U.S. News and World Report's list of best high schools across the state and the nation.
Sharon High School is the 14th best high school in Massachusetts, according to a new report from U.S. News and World Report.
In addition, the school was given a gold medal, classifying the Sharon school as a high-performing school with lower college readiness than those that earned a gold medal.
On a four-point scale, Sharon scored a 3.8 (98 percent) in proficiency in math, and a 3.7 (100 percent) in proficiency in English; both ranks are higher than the state average.

The 14:1 student-teacher radio was also near the state average.
The high school earned a college readiness score of 65 which was above the state average. The score is measured on a scale that goes up to 100 and is created based on the amount of 12th graders that took and passed AP exams.
