Sharon Teacher Charged With Indecent Assault On A Minor

The science teacher has not been arrested, but will be summoned to court on March 6, according to police.

SHARON, MA — A Sharon High School science teacher is facing criminal charges, following allegations of misconduct.

Bradley Lengas, 56, was charged with indecent assault and battery on a person over 14 and accosting and annoying a person of the opposite sex. Lengas has not been arrested, but will be summoned to court on March 6, according to police

Superintendent Victoria Greer told NECN the teacher was fired and had been suspended since December when the allegations first came to light. The school district also reported Lengas's charges to the Massachusetts Department of Elementary and Secondary Education, which allows the state to decide if it wants to revoke Lengas's license, Greer told WCVB.
