Sharon Historical Society Yard Sale Saturday June 13
Don't miss out on the "Treasures" to be had at the Historical Society Yard Sale. At the Museum, 16 High St., Jun 13, 9 am - 2:30 pm

And we need more of your “Good Stuff” before the sale !
The Sharon Historical Society Yard Sale is ON for Sat. June 13 (rain date Sat. Jun 20*) at the Museum, 16 High St. from 9 am to 2:30 pm. Please mark your calendar so you don’t forget to stop by and buy all the “new to you” treasures that you like!
In addition, hot dogs, beverages, and a friendly small-town vibe will all be there for you to enjoy, so don’t miss it.
Between now and then, the Society is seeking clean salable items. Antiques, collectibles, vintage or older items are especially welcomed; along with useful or pretty items in good condition. Small furniture- of a size that is easily handled - in good condition is also desired. Please no electronics (such as computers, monitors, television sets), luggage, or clothing.

If you have an item you think is worth more than $100, don’t be afraid to donate because you think it might not bring what it’s worth at a “Yard Sale.” We can accept it, photograph and describe it, and sell it on eBay or Craigslist.
We are so fortunate here in Sharon to have a vibrant Historical Society. Unlike many other towns, we have our own Museum, and volunteers to staff the building and keep regular “open to the public” hours. The Society collects, archives all things connected with Sharon’s rich history, and runs numerous educational and entertaining programs each years. However, the Society receives NO public funding for the upkeep of the Museum or the cost of programs! Fundraisers such as the Yard Sale help keep us going and the “lights on”; along with our dedicated members and our modest membership ($19 per year for a family) fees.

So, please support your Sharon Historical Society and bring your items to the Museum at 16 High St. (next to town parking lot beside Congregational Church and across High St. from the public library) any Thursday 3- 5 pm, or Saturday 1-4 pm. Important -- you must be able to carry your items inside and place them where the Society volunteer directs. If you cannot drop off your items to the Museum, home pick-up can be arranged. Please call 781-784-9966 (the phone at the Museum); or Marie Cuneo, (the Society’s #1 Yard Sale Heroine), at 781-784-5075 to make arrangements.
*Note the rain date is Sat June 20th, not Sun Jun 14th (which was mistakenly published in Adovocate print edition).
THANK YOU! THANK YOU! THANK YOU!
