Sharon Middle School Students Say SUV Followed Them From School

Sharon Middle School Principal Kevin O'Rourke said a vehicle followed two students from Mountain Street to Harold Street.

SHARON, MA — School and police officials say two middle school students were followed as they left school Tuesday afternoon.

In a letter to parents, Sharon Middle School Principal Kevin O'Rourke said the vehicle followed the two students from Mountain Street to the area around Lake Massapoag and Harold Street. No contact was made between the driver of the car and the students.

The students described the car as a black SUV that is possibly a Mazda. The driver was described as a while man with either brown or gray hair.

Police are investigating the incident and will be present for Wednesday afternoon's dismissal.
