Sharon is offering a free clinic to residents on CPR, AED, Narcan administration and first-aid training on Feb. 29.
SHARON, MA — Sharon residents are invited to learn what could be critical life-saving measures if they are ever faced with an emergency during the "Leap Into A Safer 2020" clinic on Feb. 29. The free clinic will run from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. at the Sharon Public Safety Building.
The clinic is designed to enhance life-saving skills within the town community. Those attending will learn CPR and AED techniques in a non-certified course, Narcan administration and methods to "stop the bleed" in situations where first aid is necessary.
Light refreshments will be available. More registration information will be forthcoming from the Sharon Fire Department. Fire Chief Richard Murphy can be reached with any questions at 781-784-1522 or rmurphy@townofsharon.org.
