UPDATE: Power in Sharon Almost Completely Restored
About 4 percent of homes in town are still in the dark.
SHARON, MA - Progress is being made in restoring power in Sharon, but some are still without power.
As of midday Sunday, 172 homes in Sharon are without power, according to the Eversource outage map. This is down from the 536 homes that were in the dark Saturday afternoon.
An active number of Eversource and tree crews are in Sharon actively working to restore power, according to the Sharon Police Department.

Due to the storm, several wires have been pulled down by tree branches. Residents are advised to stay safe and do not go near any downed wires. If you want to report an outage, call 800 592-2000.
