Sharon Police Charge Providence Man With Vehicle Thefts
Sharon police said Belter Giron, of Providence, was arrested Wednesday on a warrant related to multiple car thefts in November.
SHARON, MA β Sharon police said a Providence man wanted in connection to vehicle thefts, tire and rim thefts at the train station and high school last month has been arrested and charged. Police said Belter Giron was arrested Wednesday on an outstanding warrant and arraigned at Stoughton District Court on charges of larceny of a motor vehicle, larceny from a building and other warrants
Giron was wanted in connection to a Nov. 5 incident in which State Police and Sharon police investigated the thefts and suspects fled the station. The stolen vehicles were then involved in two separate accidents and the drivers leaving the scenes of the accidents on foot. A vehicle was also stolen from the Sharon High School parking lot during town meeting that day.
Police also arrested one person that night and two people later in the evening.
