Sharon Police Investigating Graffiti, Eggings

Sharon Police said Monday they're investigating the spraypainting of "several vulgar type words" here late last week.

The incident was reported on Bradford Avenue at 5:35 p.m. last Friday, June 29, according to the Sharon Police log.

Meanwhile, police are investigating six reports last week of egging of homes and vehicles.

At 1:20 p.m., someone on Larason Farm Road reported a past larceny.

At 2:41 p.m., someone on Lakeview Street reported a motor vehicle accident with property damage.

At 3:51 p.m., someone on Bay Road reported a motor vehicle accident with injuries.

At 4:28 p.m., someone on Edge Hill Road reported a motor vehicle accident with no injuries.

At 6:55 p.m., someone reported a dog running loose on Depot Street.

On Tuesday, June 26 at 2:36 p.m., someone on Juniper Road reported a fox acting funny.

At 5:39 p.m., someone reported a branch in the roadway at Massapoag Avenue at Drake Circle.

At 10:49 p.m., someone on Mountain Street reported a past burglary.

On Wednesday, June 27 at 10:14 p.m., someone reported an Aspen Road home was egged.

On Thursday, June 28 at 7:15 a.m., someone reported a motor vehicle accident at Train Station at Chestnut streets. No report was filed.

At 4:14 p.m., someone on Berkshire Avenue reported their motor vehicle was egged overnight.

At 9:09 p.m., police reported arresting someone and charging them with driving under the influence of alcohol or drugs at North Main Street at Cobb's Corner.

At 9:59 p.m., someone on Gabriel Road reported a lost necklace and car keys.

At 10:33 p.m., someone on Leonard Road reported a motor vehicle was egged and broken into.

On Friday, June 29 at 4:07 a.m., someone reported five individuals were driving around Cobb's Corner and North Main Street throwing eggs at cars and houses.

At 4:51 a.m., someone on Elliot Street reported farm equipment was being used.

At 7:22 a.m., someone on Lothrup Way reported their home was egged overnight.

At 3 p.m., someone reported a motor vehicle accident with property damage at Dunbar Street at Bradford Avenue.

At 5 p.m., someone on Country Lane reported their house has been egged three times in the past month.

At 6:33 p.m., police notified the water department to be on stand-by for a leak on Paul Revere Road.

At 11:56 p.m., someone reported finding a camera on Cottage Street.

On Saturday, June 30 at 6:36 a.m., someone on Inca Trail reported construction noise.

At 1:10 p.m., someone turned in a wallet they found on East Foxboro Street.

At 8:22 p.m., someone reported that a motor vehicle hit a person on a motorcycle on Bayberry Drive.
