Sharon Police K9 Flutie's Birthday Party Postponed

SHARON, MA — Flutie's birthday party is put on hold. Sharon police have delayed the party in which residents were invited to come meet and take pictures with the the police community service K9 scheduled for Sunday.

Sharon police has said they will reschedule the birthday party at a later date. The postponement is in accordance with requests to avoid large public gatherings and practice social distancing.

"Oh no, my March 15th birthday party is rescheduled — I will let you know the new date later," Sharon police posted on behalf of Flutie. "Please know I love you all and I will see you real soon to celebrate."

While it may be a bit before residents can come and hang out with Flutie, Sharon police said messages to Flutie can be sent to flutie@townofsharon.org.
