Jan. 2

2:18 p.m. - A car accident was reported on East Foxboro Street and Deborah Sampson Street.

7:19 p.m. - A pole striking the front of a home on Tracy Lane was reported.

10:29 a.m. - A motor vehicle accident on Edge Hill Road was reported.

11:40 a.m. - A pedestrian was hit by a snow plow on Route 1.

2:30 p.m. - A vehicle went off the road near Moose Hill Street and Walpole Street.

3:11 p.m. - An accident with no injuries on Bay Road and East Street was reported.

6:27 p.m. - Richard Direnzo, 56, of Stoughton was arrested and charged with illegal possession of a Class A substance.

8:07 p.m. - A resident reported hearing seven loud bangs on North Main Street.

 

Jan. 4

9:11 a.m. - A motor vehicle accident was reported on South Main Street and Gavin's Pond Road.

11:20 a.m. - A resident reported a strange dog in a garage on Mallard Drive.

1:21 p.m. - Sharon Police assisted the fire department with a blown transformer on Lakeview Street and Livingston Road.

6:01 p.m. - Hazardous conditions on Canton Street were reported.

7:20 p.m. - A loud explosion was reported on Garden Street.

7:55 p.m. - Jewelry was reportedly stolen from a Beach Street home.
