Sharon Police Warn Residents To Lock Their Cars
Sharon police said are reporting a surge of thefts from unlocked cars during the new coronavirus health emergency.
SHARON, MA — Sharon police are urging residents to keep their unattended cars locked at all times after a surge in reports of thefts from unlocked cars during the coronavirus health emergency. Police said residents should be locking their cars when they are home, and locking their houses when they are out on walks.
Residents are also urged to remove all valuables from their cars when they are not attended.
The Sharon Police wants you to be aware that there is an increase in thieves targeting unlocked cars. We suggest that you never leave money or valuables of any kind inside your vehicle . Please always lock your door. When out for a walk, always lock you house as well. pic.twitter.com/ikUjiDLNxk
