Early, in-person voting for the Sept. 1 state primary begins on Aug. 22.

SHARON, MA — Mail-in ballots will start going out to the more than 3,000 Sharon residents who have already requested them this week.
Sharon Town Clerk Mark Hogan asked residents for patience while the large amount of early requests are fulfilled, and that residents intending to vote by mail return those ballots as quickly as possible to ensure they are counted.
Mail-in ballots may be returned via mail, delivered in person or left in the secured drop box at town hall. Voters should use the large white drop box marked "BALLOTS ONLY." Ballots must be received by the end of election day on Sept. 1 to be counted.
