Sharon's Zabinsky Suits Up for Brockton Rox
Former Sharon High standout Dave Zabinsky is in the bullpen for the Brockton Rox this summer.

Sharon's Dave Zabinsky is pitching in relief this summer for the Brockton Rox in the New England Futures Collegiate Baseball League.
In the first five games of the season, the righthander has made two appearances, pitching an inning, giving up two hits and three runs. The Rox will take a 3-2 record into tonight's home game against the Torrington Titans.
Zabinsky, who was a standout at Sharon High, appeared in 12 games for Bowdoin College as a reliever with an 0.90 earned run average with no record, only giving up four runs and six hits. He also had nine strikeouts and walked seven batters in sophomore season.

For Bowdoin, Zabinsky is also listed as an infielder, but he only saw action on the mound as a sophomore.
