Sharon Schools No. 11 In Greater Boston: Rankings

SHARON, MA — Sharon students returned to school on Wednesday — and they can take comfort in knowing their school district is one of the best in the state. Boston Magazine ranked Sharon No. 11 on its list of Greater Boston public school districts. The rankings, released Sunday, was based on test scores, student-teacher ratios, class sizes, and graduation rates, among other factors.

Boston Magazine reported these statistics for Sharon schools:

• Enrollment: 3,468
• Average class size: 18.3
• Student-teacher ratio: 12 to 5
• Graduation rate: 94.6 percent
• Per-pupil spending: $15,401

The Dover-Sherborn school district was ranked No. 1. This is the top 10:
