Sharon Soccer Offering First Responder Course To Youth Coaches
March 29 session includes CPR and AED training.

The Sharon Soccer Association will help Sharon's youth sports coaches become the first line of defense during health incidents.
A two-hour first responder course will be offered from 7 to 9 p.m. Tuesday, March 29 in the cafeteria, soccer association board member Pat McManus says.
The program will be offered to all Sharon youth sports programs, McManus says.

Dr. Daniel Muse of Brockton Hospital and Sharon Fire Department Paramedic Coordinator John Guiod will participate, he says.
"The two-hour course is not a certification course and covers three main topics: 1. teaching CPR (updated to include current American Heart Association standards) and first aid; 2. teaching the use of Automated External Defibrillators (AEDs); 3. offering additional information on sports injuries and concussions," McManus says.
