Sharon Parking Ban Starts Tonight

From the Sharon Police Department:

- A snow emergency parking ban will begin as of 6 p.m. Monday until 6 p.m. on Thursday January 29th. There will be no on street parking during this time. Vehicles left on a public roadway may be towed during this time. We ask for your cooperation during this storm so the DPW can do their job. The DPW will have over fifty pieces of equipment out and need the roads clear of all obstructions.

- Residents are asked to stay home and shelter in place if possible

- Report power outages to NSTAR at 1-800-592-2000. Do not call the police unless you have an emergency, then call 911.

- Charge your devices BEFORE any potential loss of power/electricity

- Continue to monitor our Facebook/Twitter accounts and listen to Sharon Radio AM1630 for important updates and information

- Use your common sense and enjoy the snow!
