Sharon Teen Killed in Israel Shooting

Ezra Schwartz, 18, was declared dead at the scene of a fatal shooting near the West Bank settlement of Alon Shvut.

A Sharon teenager was among three killed and four injured Thursday afternoon in a shooting near the West Bank settlement of Alon Shvut in the Etzion Bloc.

Ezra Schwartz, 18, was declared dead at the scene by paramedics according to the Times of Israel.

Police in Israel confirmed that the assailant opened fired towards Israeli vehicles from his own vehicle. After he ran out of ammunition, he allegedly drove towards Gush Etzion Junction before ramming the vehicle into a car. He was then disarmed and arrested by police.

The suspect was identified by Palestinian media as a West Bank man named Mohammed Abdel Basset al-Kharoub.

Also killed in the attack was an unidentified Palestinian man and Yaakov Don, 51, of Alon Shvut.
