Sharon Town Offices To Expand Hours On Monday
While residents are still asked to conduct business via phone or online, if possible, hours cut during coronavirus crisis will be restored.
SHARON, MA — Four months after closing most town offices to the public amid the coronavirus crisis, Sharon is planning to open once again on Monday.
While the town still urges residents to conduct business via online and phone whenever possible, they will be able to access in-person services throughout the week extensively for the first time since March.
Sharon Town Hall and Sharon Community Center will be open Monday through Wednesday from 8:30 a.m. to 5 p.m., Thursday from 8:30 a.m. to 6 p.m. and Friday from 8:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m.

Sharon Public Safety Building will be open from 7 a.m. to 11 p.m. seven days a week with residents asked to use the intercom for entry during after-business hours.
The Sharon Department of Public Works remains accessible by appointment only.

Visitors are asked to wear masks in buildings at all time and stay home if not feeling well. Social distancing must be observed at all times. Staff will wear masks and maintain social distancing while dealing with the public.
Residents are asked to pay all bills using a personal check or bank check.
Public meetings will remain virtual until further notice.
