Star Gazing Nights - June 10, July 29, August 11, & September 23

Join local astronomers for a look at the stars and other night objects through big telescopes at Mass Audubon's Moose Hill.

Join local astronomers for a look at the stars and other night objects through big telescopes at Mass Audubon’s Moose Hill. The event is on-going, so drop in for all or just some of the evening. This adventure starts with a self-directed 5-minute walk along a wooded trail. Bring a flash light to help light your way to the astron­omers. Star gaze and see things not possible with the naked eye. Program is FREE, but will be cancelled if sky conditions are cloudy/milky or in the event of overly wet field condi­tions; call Patti Austin at 781-784-5691 x8103 after 7pm for a recorded message concerning the status of the program prior to attending. On Jun 10 & Jul 29, program is offered at 9-10:30pm; Aug 11 & Sept 23 offered at 8:30-10:30pm.

Park in the Visitor Center parking lot and follow the trail marked by glow bands to the viewing field. Moose Hill is located at 293 Moose Hill St, Sharon, MA.
