Stoughton Man Charged in Sharon Break-in

Sharon, MA — Police in Sharon have made an arrest in connection to a Mountain Street break-in.

Jeffrey Romeiro, 29, of Stoughton, was arrested Monday and charged with breaking and entering in the daytime with intent to commit a felony and two counts of larceny over $250. He's being held overnight and is scheduled to be arraigned in Stoughton District Court Tuesday morning.

The break-in was first reported on June 13, with the arrest coming after a lengthy investigation, police said.

Officers from Foxborough and Stoughton assisted with the investigation.
