Teal Ribbons to Raise Ovarian Cancer Awareness in Sharon

Sharon couple bringing national Turn the Towns Teal campaign here for second straight September.

Teal will again adorn the town known for the maroon and gold.

Sharon will participate in the national Turn The Towns Teal ovarian cancer awareness campaign for the second consecutive September, resident Karen Rosenblum says.

Rosenblum and her husband Barry brought the program to Sharon last September. They and their family and friends placed teal ribbons around trees, fences and lamp posts throughout Sharon, and even the Deborah Sampson statue at the . They also distributed symptom cards to businesses, and placed posters around town.
