Train Breaks Down in Sharon

Commuters on an MBTA train from Providence are now stuck north of Sharon.

Due to a mechanical problem, the 806 train to Boston came to halt just past the Sharon station, delaying all upcoming trains on the line.

Due to the issue, the train has been linked with the 842 train and is being pushed up the rail to Boston. When the linkup occurred, a 70-80 minute delay was announced.

Commuters should expect delays on the Providence/Stoughton line.
