What do the New Water Rates Look Like?

The rates go into effect on New Year's Day

Depending how much water they use, residents may find themselves paying more to use water.

While the rates for the four brackets will remain the same, the range of the top three brackets have been adjusted.

The bottom bracket for up to 4,500 gallons remains $4 for the summer/spring and $3 for the fall/winter.

The second bracket now has a lower ceiling, coming down from 9,000 gallons to 7,500. The third bracket, while the floor is lower at 7,500 gallons, the ceiling is now 24,000 gallons. The top bracket is now for users of over 24,000 gallons, rather than 22,500.

Below is a summary of the new rates, effective Jan. 1, 2015.
