
After two months off, it's time for the children of Sharon to return to the classroom. With most kids returning to school today, Patch has you covered with what you need to know for the start of the new school year. While most grades will start today, kindergarden will begin on Aug. 29 and preschool starts on Sept. 3
1. Don't Forget, There Are Short Weeks Ahead
Students will have the following days off this week and next: Aug. 30, Sept. 2 for Labor Day, and Sept. 5-6 for Rosh Hashanah.
The first full week of school will be Sept. 9-13
2. The Bus Routes
The bus routes for the elementary schools, middle school and high school can be found here.
3. School Hours
- High School: 8:05 a.m. - 2:40 p.m.
- Middle School: 7:40 a.m. - 2:10 a.m.
- Heights Elementary School: 8:50 a.m. - 3:05 p.m.
- Cottage Street School: 8:55 a.m. - 3:10 p.m.
- East Elementary School: 9 a.m. - 3:15 p.m.
