Elsie Kaye Artisan Gifts & Flamework Studio

Elsie Kaye Gift Shop &amp; Artisan Studio In 2009, on a whim, Holly Kenny took a flameworking class and learned to make glass beads. This sparked a love of glass art and led to the launch her business, Elsie Kaye Gift Shop and Art Studio in downtown Westborough. Holly currently teaches flameworking and metalworking at her studio and is on the faculty at the New England Craft Program in Williamsburg, MA. Holly loves the fluidity and movement of glass and enjoys incorporating metals, enamels and other elements that can change the texture and appearance of the glass. As a result, much of her work takes on an abstract, organic feel. Her work, under the name Elsie Kaye Glassworks, can be found at more than 50 boutiques and galleries across the country. Holly is passionate about promoting emerging local artists by selling their work at her retail shop, as well as helping to foster connections with new and existing businesses in the local area. She is an active member of her community, where she has lived with her husband and two children since 2006.

The new library cost estimate is here at over $23 Million. This is the first time I have seen design changes and cost cutting before the vote.  This is not anything like is such be.  The finished area are got bigger with the elimination of the skylights.  They should not have been there to begin with, but that is expected from a group of engineers that have never build a library before and were taken on a state wide library tour with the library director to pick up new ideas.
