Finding Yourself This Summer
Going to the beach and meditating to the waves coming in and out, is one method to relax the mind and ask for ask for answers.
I just saw the movie, Eat, Pray, and Love, starring Julia Roberts.
The movie is based upon the book by Elizabeth Gilbert that became a bestseller in the last few years. I enjoyed watching the movie though it was deep and insightful in searching for your inner self.
Another movie similar to this one is Under the Tuscan Sun, starring Diane Lane. This movie showed a woman finding herself by moving to Italy to redeem herself after going through a painful divorce.

It is interesting how a few good movies are being made in which the characters go on a journey to explore their inner beings after experiencing difficult interpersonal experiences in their lives.
Since we are living in difficult economic times where many families and individuals are struggling to pay their bills, afford their expensive health insurance plans, and are either working or finding work, this summer is a great opportunity to think of creative ways to find your inner self.
