Representative Matt Beaton Hosts First Annual Beaton Charity Classic Golf Tournament

State Representative Matt Beaton to Host First Annual Beaton Charity Classic Golf Tournament to benefit three local charities.

State Representative Matt Beaton is pleased to announce his first charity
golf tournament.  Here's why Rep. Beaton wants to take a swing at hosting a golf tournament this year, “helping others in need was a core tenet of my upbringing and one of the reasons I ran for State Representative. Following in the tradition of my predecessor I am very pleased to announce the first Beaton Charity Classic Golf Tournament, which will raise funds to support three hard-working human service organizations in our community.”  They are:

  • St. Anne’s Human Services assists the poor and needy in the local community with food and clothing,
  • Shrewsbury Youth and Family Services is a private, non-profit community counseling and social services agency,
  • Westborough Food Pantry serves families in need a good array of nutritious food to supplement their own resources.

The Beaton Charity Classic takes place Monday, August 20th at Mount Pleasant Country Club, a beautiful private, 18-hole championship golf course located in Boylston, MA.  The day will begin at 9AM with a continental breakfast during registration, a BBQ luncheon served on the golf course and a 19th Hole Reception.  The 19th Hole Reception is open to individuals who are unable to participate in the golfing but wish to support the event.  It begins at 3:30PM and will feature silent and live auctions as well as delicious food and a cash bar.
