Shrewsbury Youth & Family Services 8th Annual Gala Celebration

The silent auction raised over $30,000 for the agency.

This exciting annual event was held at St. John's High School, Saturday Feb. 11. A sold-out crowd of 360 guests enjoyed a delicious stationed dinner by Peppers Fine Foods of Northborough. Cocktail hour music was provided by the Jazz Band Ensemble.

A very lively auction of Celtics and Red Sox tickets, as well as Neil Diamond and Red Hot Chili Peppers concert tickets, combined with over 100 items in the silent auction raised over $30,000 for the agency. Chris Juetten won the Dazzling Diamond grand prize—diamond hoop earrings generously donated by Sachs Jewelers.

The highlight of the evening was the recognition of four Shrewsbury students, Romaine Campbell, Kelsey Giordano, Kevin Harrington and Hannah Levine as the 2012 Outstanding Youth of Shrewsbury. Similarly inspiring was the recognition of Shrewsbury's own who was presented with the Harry S. Cutting Award.
