Stopping and Yielding in the Public Roadways
Apparently, the yield sign is a decoration located near the Rite Aid Pharmacy.
I am appalled when witnessing how some drivers pass stop signs in tertiary roadways in Shrewsbury.
For example, I have seen and beeped many drivers passing the stop sign on Washington and Hunting Streets several times over the last three months. I don't understand why these drivers feel they have the right to pass a stop sign where their careless actions can cause serious car accidents.
On the same note, several cars also pass the stop sign on Trowbridge Lane off Hunting Avenue as well. I have beeped at those drivers who made the careless decision to pass this stop sign without any regard to cars coming up Hunting Avenue to go to South Street.

Furthermore, many cars are also not yielding to drivers who turn from Maple Avenue to go on Main Street West. Apparently, the yield sign is a decoration located near the Rite Aid Pharmacy.
I am recommending to the town to think about how to promote educational campaigns to promote public safety in the roadways. How many car accidents does it take to get a safey campaign in town?
