Enjoying the Nice Weather
Though the weather is predicted to be 80 degrees on Sunday, we can't take it for granted that the warm weather will stay.
I can't believe that Columbus Day weekend is here. It was just yesterday that summer vacation ended and started before Labor Day weekend. I find Columbus Day weekend to be a time for people to slow down their normal pace from work, school and everyday activities. I remembered the weekend being a time for foilage peeping in the Berkshires. Due to the warm weather recently, I don't see many leaves turning colors this time around. In fact, many trees in town still have green leaves on them.
What is different are the days getting shorter and the mornings and evenings becoming cold and dry. It is strange to see people wearing warm clothing as they take morning walks with their pets and children. Though the weather is predicted to be 80 degrees on Sunday, we can't take it for granted that the warm weather will stay. In fact, any warm weather over 80 degrees will be a blessing from here on then before the onset of winter.
Since the weather is comfortable and dry, I plan to take many walks with their family to enjoy the fresh air blowing on our faces and observing the changes in nature. The sounds of the crows flying in our neighborhood will be heard as the wind will be blowing off the leaves day by day. Besides walks, one can also meditate by listening to the rustling of leaves, feeling the wind on their faces and seeing the colorful leaves bring smiles to their faces.
