Vantage Builders, Inc., a general contracting and construction firm based in Waltham, Mass., announced that construction has begun on the New England Sikh Study Circle’s (NESSC) place of worship at 168 Flanders Rd., Westborough. The 21,000 square foot facility is expected to be completed by the first quarter of 2015.
The new temple, known as a Gurduara Sahib, will become the principal place of worship for the New England Sikh community. The facility will house classrooms, meeting places of various sizes, a community kitchen able to serve up to 400 people, a library, and residences for the community’s leader.
