Craigslist Confession: I Hit Your Cat And I Am So Very Sorry
A person on Craigslist hit a cat that then ran into the woods in Shrewsbury, and is not sure if the cat is okay.
SHREWSBURY, MA — A person is reaching out on Craigslist in hopes to provide information, and condolences, after apparently hitting a cat while driving on Grafton Street in Shrewsbury.
On Friday morning around 9:10 a.m., the person drove down Grafton Street (Route 140) near the Route 9 ramp and a dark colored cat ran in front of the car.
"It happened so fast and I didn't even have time to brake," the person wrote on Craigslist. "I pulled over to check if it was ok when the driver behind me pulled up and said she thought she saw it run back into the bushes. But, I hit it pretty hard, I think it may have been killed. If this is your cat, I am so very, very sorry this happened. I really hope the cat is okay."
