Oak Middle School Boys’ and Girls’ Basketball Registration and Tryouts

Nov. 5: Registration in the gym immediately following homeroom.  Report to the gym following announcements to sign up and receive information about the tryout process.  If a student cannot attend the registration meeting on Nov. 5, the student must see Coach LaRose.

Nov. 16: 7th Grade Tryouts

Nov. 17: 8th Grade Tryouts

Nov. 18: Tryouts for all who make first cut

Students need an updated physical (dated on or after Oct. 16, 2009) on file with the school nurse in order to try out.

The Parent Permission Slip (http://schools.shrewsbury-ma.gov/egov/docs/1232123882565.htm) must be completed and signed.  All paperwork must be submitted by Nov. 12 in order for students to tryout.  Students awarded a position on the team roster must pay the activity fee prior to the first practice.
