Shrewsbury Boys Youth Lacrosse will hold registrations on Dec. 9 in the "Common Area" from 6:30 – 8 p.m. Shrewsbury Boys Youth Lacrosse is open to Shrewsbury boys in grades 3 through 8. Neither experience nor tryouts are required. We field all players equally with the goal of teaching the sport and providing a fun experience for every player.
We play an eight-game schedule against surrounding towns and hold a jamboree at Fort Devens in June. Indoor practices start after February vacation. Games start when fields open in April. Games are typically played on Sunday afternoons and practices are held during the week. Registrations are on a first-come, first-serve basis. We must have a head count by mid-December to notify our league, MBYLL, with the numbers of teams.
The cost is $195 per player. Credit card payment is required at time of registration. We are also looking for coaches and others to help out. No coaching experience is required. There will be a late fee of $50 assessed per player for registrations received after Dec. 12. Online registrations will remain open until Dec. 12, based on availability. Note: there may not be enough room for players who register late.
