Elsie Kaye Gift Shop &amp; Artisan Studio In 2009, on a whim, Holly Kenny took a flameworking class and learned to make glass beads. This sparked a love of glass art and led to the launch her business, Elsie Kaye Gift Shop and Art Studio in downtown Westborough. Holly currently teaches flameworking and metalworking at her studio and is on the faculty at the New England Craft Program in Williamsburg, MA. Holly loves the fluidity and movement of glass and enjoys incorporating metals, enamels and other elements that can change the texture and appearance of the glass. As a result, much of her work takes on an abstract, organic feel. Her work, under the name Elsie Kaye Glassworks, can be found at more than 50 boutiques and galleries across the country. Holly is passionate about promoting emerging local artists by selling their work at her retail shop, as well as helping to foster connections with new and existing businesses in the local area. She is an active member of her community, where she has lived with her husband and two children since 2006.

February School Vacation Youth Cricket Clinic Shrewsbury Parks and Recreation Department is offering a Youth Cricket Clinic during February Vacation for youth in grades 1st through 8th grade. The program will meet Feb 18, 19, and 20th from 6:00-7:30 pm at the Oak Middle School. Registration is now open online at <a href="http://www.shrewsburyma.gov/parkrec" rel="noopener nofollow" target="_blank">www.shrewsburyma.gov/parkrec</a> .  Youth will be introduced to the basics of cricket and help build their interest in the game. Cricket is a bat and ball sport and is the second most popular sport in the world after soccer. The clinic will be divided into two age groups.
