Breaking: Join together in viewing this film, and discussing the crisis.

SHREWSBURY, MA—SCAPE (Shrewsbury Coalition for Addiction Prevention and Education) is hosting a screening of the short film If Only, which is intended for teens, parents and adults to raise awareness about the dangers of prescription drug misuse and abuse and to start a conversation that encourages the safe use, storage and disposal of prescription drugs to keep them out of the hands of kids.
Opioid abuse has reached alarming levels in our state, and Shrewsbury is not immune to this issue, said Superintendent Joe Sawyer in a press release.
There is a community screening and panel discussion with Producer James Wahlberg at Oak Middle School on Tuesday, Oct. 18, at 6:30 p.m.
