Important Update From Shrewsbury Water & Sewer Division

Beginning on Monday, July 13, 2020, Haluch Water Contracting Inc. will be replacing the water main on a section of Walnut Street between Main Circle and Hillando Drive. Work is scheduled to start at Main Circle and the project is expected to take 6-8 weeks to complete.

Walnut Street will be closed between Main Circle and Hillando Drive Monday – Friday while work is taking place from 7:00 am to 4:00 pm, weather permitting. Local traffic will be allowed to pass whenever possible, however due to the narrow width of Walnut Street in some areas this may not be possible at all times. A detour route using Floral Street, South Street, and Main Street has been established. Please see the attached map for more information and the detour route.
