Letter: Please Vote With Me To Re-elect Beth Casavant To Shrewsbury Select Board

The following letter was submitted to Shrewsbury Patch by resident John Lebeaux.

Beth Casavant and I served five years together on the then-named Shrewsbury Board of Selectmen. During that time, I had a firsthand opportunity to regularly observe Beth to be very thoughtful as she deliberated and came to her conclusions as how to best proceed. She consistently demonstrated that her objective is to carefully work to come to decisions and positions that are in the best short and long-term interests of the town’s residents. Beth’s priorities to promote fiscal stability and responsible development, protect residential taxpayers, sensibly grow the commercial/industrial tax base, and enhance residents’ quality of life are clearly the values Shrewsbury needs its Selectboard to possess.

Beth understands what a Selectboard needs to do to support our schools, invest in public safety, and preserve essential services for residents of all ages, and do so in an accessible, transparent manner. She is someone I very much want to continue as one of my Selectboard members.

Please vote with me to re-elect Beth Casavant to the Shrewsbury Selectboard on Tuesday May 5th!
