New Eagle Scout (Two in one short week!!!)

American Legion Ray Stone Post 238 and Troop 4 are proud to announce that Scott McCullough, age 17 of Westborough, has been awarded the rank of Eagle Scout.  Troop 4 recently moved from Westborough to its new home at the Ray Stone Post.  Scott is its first Eagle Scout at Ray Stone Post. The ceremony date for the Eagle Scout presentation is yet to be announced.

Scott is a junior at Westborough High School. He is a member of the high school marching band where he plays the clarinet. He is a pianist in several school musical groups and plays piano for the high school musicals.    Scott is the 104th Eagle Scout for Troop 4 and it is noted that less than 4% of Scouts ever achieve Scouting’s highest honor. This elite brotherhood includes many famous people from astronauts to presidents, business leaders to military generals. The Boy Scouts of America is one of the nation’s largest and most prominent values-based organizations.  Its programs are designed to build character and leadership capabilities.  Scott has served in numerous leadership positions for Troop 4 as the First Aid Instructor, Patrol Leader and most recently as an Assistant Senior Patrol. Congratulations Scott!
