This week, we tackle the age-old problem of keeping kids occupied during a meal. When I was a kid, my grandparents used to say, "children should be seen and not heard." But now, restaurants cater to kids and most have kids menus for food especially for kids.

Here's our picks:

• Not only does it have a family-friendly environment, but ice cream is included with every kids meal. And usually, you can get a free balloon.
• While it's a Mexican restaurant for more than just the family, kids eat free every Tuesday night.
• With it's own kid-friendly menu, Chipotle is a great place for families. They also offer fresh ingredients and healthy options for those looking to go a little healthier with their families.
• Another restaurant that has a kid-friendly menu and with the friendly service and fun atmosphere, Chili's is a great place for kids and families.
• Not dubbed a "family-friendly" restaurant, but the cooking table definitely caters to families with the volcano onion stack and the high-flying Japanese food. If your kids can stand the fire, they can enjoy a great eating experience.
