SHREWSBURY – The Shrewsbury Education Foundation (SEF) has announced that Central One Federal Credit Union has renewed its Signature Sponsorship of SEF for the coming year. Central One’s $1,500 sponsorship benefits SEF’s annual educator grant program, a competitive effort which provides financial support to educator-driven initiatives which go above and beyond in providing additional enrichment and programming that directly benefits students.

“We are so excited that Central One Federal Credit Union has committed to this sponsorship of the Shrewsbury Education Foundation,” said Christine Juetten, SEF co-president. “Central One is well-known in Shrewsbury as a strong supporter of the community, and we are very grateful that this fantastic local business has further extended its generosity in a way that will directly benefit Shrewsbury students.”

“Central One Federal Credit Union is extremely proud to once again support the Shrewsbury Education Foundation. SEF has consistently supported the young students in our community and this is something Central One believes in and is committed to,” said David L’Ecuyer, president and CEO of Central One Federal Credit Union.

Founded in 1992, SEF works to stimulate, strengthen, and support the creation and implementation of innovative educational programs and enrichment activities that benefit students of the Shrewsbury Public School system. SEF provides direct support to educator-driven initiatives that enhance the classroom experience outside of the appropriated budget.

Since its inception, SEF has awarded more than $250,000 in grants that support programs impacting student learning at every grade level. For more information, visit SEF’s website.
